During lockdown Tim Dutton of Ivan Dutton Ltd used some time to make videos of the Bugatti restoration shop that his friends call Tim's world, watch this space for more videos coming soon
Ivan and his son Timothy went down to the Algarve circuit at Portimao to take part in the Benjafields 24 hour race. Ivan isn't a big fan of Bentleys, but did have a fair bit of involvement with them in the late 80s in a short lived business venture with Ed Hubbard. Their Bentley build was all a bit last minute, given other commitments, but they made it to the start line and round and round the track, with a few hiccups on the way. All in all a very fun weekend. There were several videographers there with fancy cameras and on-board footage including @CarClassicTV if you want to see some on track action.
Tim booked Anglesey Track to test some GP Bugattis. Ivan joined him and had a good go (and a few 'moments') in the Century Oils Capri and in the Type 51. Plus a few warm down laps in his 1914 10 litre Hall Scott powered Peugeot Indianapolis car.
